Ashley Thompson Hartmeyer, age 35, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was born August 28, 1986 in Savannah and was reared in Metter.  She was a 2004 graduate of Metter High School and had received her Master’s Degree from Colorado Technical University in Public Administration.  Ashley had worked the past 11 years for the Department of Corrections and currently was a Counselor at Long State Prison.  She was the happiest when she could spend time with her family and friends.  Ashley was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Jordan and Johnny Hartmeyer of Reidsville; her parents, Joyce and Victor Kreiser of Vidalia; brother, Patrick Thompson of Lyons; father of her children, Michael Hartmeyer of Reidsville; several nieces and nephews.
